NVQ Construction Courses

These courses are currently delivered via OSAT (Onsite assessment and training), OSAT is an ideal method for people looking to get a qualification in the field they have worked in for sometime, but for whichever reasons never gain a qualification in. Delivering your NVQ via OSAT provides the minimum disruption to your working day while still allowing you to achieve your NVQ.

What To Expect
Courses generally take 6-12 months depending on the amount of evidence that’s needed. During your course you will be visited by our induction team and then you will be assigned a assessor for the remaining duration of your course.
Our induction team will be come see you on site, they will give you an overview of what to expect and provide you with an introduction to course. An assessor will be then be assigned for the remaining duration of your course. Each assessor has industry experience in the fields they assess and are fully qualified A1 Assessors. This assessor will be your first point of contact throughout the course, however should you have any problems you can also contact our support office direct.
Our Assessor will travel to your work site, take evidence of your work via photo and discussion and over the course of 3 – 4 visits build a portfolio of your work; based on this collected evidence a NVQ will be awarded. Our assessors know how valuable your time is and while on-site will try to cause as little disruption as possible to yourself and your company.
What Do I Get
Once your NVQ has been awarded you will be the proud owner of a industry recognised National Vocational Qualification which reflects your skills and knowledge needed to do a job effectively, and show that you are competent in your field of work, allowing you to show a client you are qualified, this could mean the difference between getting the job, because you were qualified and your competition was not.
Having these qualifications also helps qualify you for a Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS) card.
